I just heard on NPR a discussion with the authors of the book "Good Night Bush" which is a parody of the classic children book "Good Night Moon" and found it to be interesting and blog-worthy. The book goes through many of the events over the past eight years from the fiasco in FL during the election to the twin towers. And, apparently in this book, instead of searching for the small white mouse, readers seek out a miniature Osama Bin Laden.

As much as I dislike many of what has occurred over the past eight years, I am not too sure I am comfortable with "Good Night Moon" being used to express such ugly and sad things. I hold a special place in my heart for that book and feel a little uncomfortable with this....
