Derek recently released his art blog, Onlooker, and has sold several pieces already. It is very exciting and he feels very honored to have had the chance to do so. The first piece to sell was the Grapefruits, a piece which many people told us was their favorite. Lynda Carey, a good family friend bought it.
I am sad that our walls are bare, but all the positive feedback has motivated him to paint more and so soon our walls will have new rotating pieces. This summer our plan is for Derek to have plenty of time to paint before he starts his last quarter at DU.
