The past two weekends, much to Derek's dismay, we have been in CERT training. That's Community Emergency Response Team training. That's right - we are now trained, with the certificate to show for it, to help in and lead a response to a natural or man-made disaster. We even got nifty backpacks full of such items as a rachet, goggles, a flashlight, a KNIFE and the most important part, a bright green vest and helmet. Yep! It was out of control. We spent our last day practicing our search and rescue skills.
