Sunday Milly and I ran in the Fort Collins 10K. It was a really nice route to run so I am glad we made it. We almost didn't though. I guess we thought we could just drive up there and everything would fall into place with little or no planning on our parts. It did I guess, but we pretty much parked the car and started running (after a quick pee-stop). It is better then the fiasco at the country music marathon which found me running a whole mile towards the starting line so I could then turn around (wipe the tears from my cheeks) and start running again....
The weather was perfect and we did a great job so it was a major success.
Besides that Derek and I are just enjoying beautiful spring weather (mother nature scared me when it snowed on Thursday though). I am trying to line up an internship or two for the summer and have begun to think about returning to a place of employment when this quarter is through. Jenna and Trey and Jackie are heading up here next Monday and will be with us for awhile which we are very excited about.
