"Happiness is a journey, not a destination; happiness is to be found along the way not at the end of the road, for then the journey is over and it's too late. The time for happiness is today not tomorrow."

Spy Hill
Recently, I was invited on an outing to the local game reserve with some of Philakahle’s funders from the Commart Foundation in Canada whom were here for a visit. I was amazed to see what was right in my municipality! That is a Rhino – there was a mommy, daddy and baby. We saw lots of other animals, but I am no good at photography and only had our cheap camera. We spent too much time gawking at the rhinos and missed the giraffes (reason to go back), but thanks to John’s driving talents and his willingness to ignore his wife’s pleas to stay on the road, we were able to get really close to the rhino family. The place is called Spoinkop, which means Spy Hill in Afrikaans. It is a significant location to the Anglo-Boer war.
