Derek has finally done something that has been on his bucket list for awhile now. Brewed his own beer. His first batch was a simple lager called “Make Shift Ale” and the batch currently in process is an IPA titled “First Rain IPA.” It is quite the scientific process. The other day I returned to our house after he had bottled the beer and found a tidal wave had gone through the village, missing everything but our home!
