Derek and I took a few days off work and headed out of the cold mountain air down to the beaches in Durban. Durban is only a couple hours away by taxi and so I am sure we will make many more quick trips there over the next couple years. We had some great food (Bunny Chow, Sushi and even Enchiladas at Taco Zulu) and some good beach time. I even took a surf lesson. Some fellow Peace Corps volunteers met us there and, although we had decided to stay at a different backpackers then them, we enjoyed spending time with them. We watched a World Cup match on the beach while there.
