Saying good-bye to my Denver mini-friends:
I have spent many hours over the past two years with these wonderful kids. Being their nanny/babysitter/friend has been very special to me and has been such a great job while finishing school. I can't express how grateful I am to have had such a fun and relaxing job that helped and allowed Derek and I the freedom and flexibility to live the life we did in Denver. I am so sad that when I see these buddies again they might not remember me - hopefully their parents will!

Saying good-bye to the girl-friends whose friendships have molded me the most in Denver:

Gandalf has been resettled in Portland and all reports are positive. The garage sale was a huge success and all other unnecessary items have been donated or given away. The POD has been packed and shipped off to Nashville for storage for the next two and a half years. Good byes have been said: drinks toasted, bread broken, tears shed. Tomorrow we say good bye to our second apartment shared as a married couple - it has been a good place to call home, full of good memories, challenges met and overcome, and growth. We will be sad to leave, but excited for the travels and adventures awaiting us.
