The Colburns bought a new home in San Tan Valley. Farm actually.

We are so happy for them. For so long they have been saying they want a place on a chunk of land so they could have farm animals. Well they have it and it is perfect although it is pretty far out there. We spent three weeks total there and although I had worried I would get bored and planned to get a lot of things accomplished we spent most days just hanging out and loving it. Mom came out for a Christmas celebration and Jim came out often to spend quality time.

Some things to remember:
- Tana not being able to say "Missy" without it sounding like "Pissy". Her looking at me after I ranted about Derek leaving the cap off toothpaste and saying "Pissy" then stomping off to put the cap into my boot!
- Picking up Gogo and Jabu (the goats) with Jenna and Harlee
- Harlee in her bumpo chair with toys and mirrors attached to her feet by Derek to keep her occupied
- Derek and Jim making pumpkin beer
- Drinking beer in the backyard with my siblings as we watch the cows and Tana
- Montana eating goat food - see pictures as proof
- Confirmation that the bond between brothers and sisters and brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws is strong and lasting

- Sleeping in the love sack
- Derek and Tana having a serious "talk" about going to bed without crying. It worked and she went to bed without a peep for the first time in the two weeks we had been there! What did he say before putting her to bed? "It will be better for both of us if you just go to sleep without crying."
