Oklahoma City Memorial

On the way from Phoenix to Minneapolis we stopped in OK City to visit the memorial and have a beer at a local brewery. The memorial was very nice.

Random AZ Fun

Camila lives in Tucson so we took turns between the valley and Tucson for visits. It is always awesome to spend time with her.

Dinner at the Krolls

Nancy and her new boyfriend, Charlie, whom we liked ever so much, came out to Phoenix to visit old co-worker friends and us. We had a nice time spending some time with them although it was not nearly enough!

Family Fun in Show Low

Trey's family graciously allowed us to use their beautiful cabin (if you can call this place a cabin) for the weekend. We had a great time eating, playing games, reading and just being together even though I had a disgusting eye stye the whole time!!!

Petrified Forest

Jenna and Trey helped dig up this skeleton.

While we were staying at the cabin in Show Low we took a day to go visit the Petrified Forest National Park. It was great hearing all the information Trey has come to know about the park and to see his enthusiasm about the history and natural surroundings. The petrified trees were neat to look at and also very beautiful, but a very big and important element to the park is the history including sundials to mark the soltices and hieroglyphics used to spread information and tell stories.

Christmas Round 1

We celebrated Christmas with Mom, Jenna, Jimmy, Trey and Lynda at the cabin in show-low with some gifts exchanged and a nice turkey dinner. It was lovely.
