I Survived Field Protocol and Survival

I spent the weekend in the mountains learning all the skills needed to be a humanitarian. It was slightly out of control and very cold. I did learn a lot like how to locate coordinates, dig a latrine, avoid frostbite while washing dishes, proper walkie-talkie etiquette. and how to build a make-shift stretcher. But, what I really walked away fully understanding is that terrible situations can be made to be alright or even down right enjoyable when you are surrounded by good people (and maybe some beer)!!!! Go team Echo! My team rocked.
