Derek, me and the whole family went out to the Opryland Hotel to see the lights inside the hotel and to walk through the grinch ice deal. The whole thing, all of Whoville, is made of ice, complete with two ice slides. It was a great time, but really cold, even for someone coming from Denver. When it is 8 degrees outside I generally stay inside and only venture out to move from one activity to the next, but for this event, the activity took place in 8 degrees. My toes thawed quickly and we got some good shots and made some good ole' family memories including Brooke and me slipping off an ice ledge onto the ground!
